The WVWC Dance Team recently held their 5th annual Spotlight Performance.
On Saturday March 21st, the dance team performed at their annual Spotlight performance in preparation for the NDA competition in Daytona.
The team performed both their spirit rally and team performance routines, that will be competing in April, as well as several of their game day routines showcased during football and basketball season.
Dance team seniors Megan Brozik, Caitlynn Sherman, Junee James, Abby Dilly, and Makenzie Fultineer each performed a self choreographed solo.
They were also celebrated in a senior dance that included graduate student, and dance team member, Remmey Lohr.
“Spotlight is the dance team’s annual recital where we showcase all of the routines we learned over the season! It is open to the public, not just students, and it gives everyone the opportunity to see what our program is about,” Lohr says.
The evening also consisted of several guest performances from local studios and dancers.
The performance is held to support the team as they prepare to leave for Daytona to compete in the NDA competition, where they have placed second in the nation twice.
Best of luck to the dance team, let’s go bobcats!
