West Virginia Wesleyan is a beautiful place for young adults to go to. Wesleyan has a friendly community and pretty good campus and supportive professors and exciting athletics, and they have a highly- ranked academic program.

Takeshi Pollard said this is why he chose West Virginia Wesleyan for two main reasons. “First, I wanted a second chance to play football and improve my skills. This opportunity meant a lot to me, as I hope to make a real impact on the team. Second, I wanted to get away from home and experience a new environment. This change would help me grow personally and academically, giving me a fresh start in life” Pollard said. Pollard is from Kansas City, KS, and his favorite NFL team is the Kansas City Chiefs. Also, he is a junior at West Virginia Wesleyan College. He is an amazing person to get to know.

Austin Dixon said this why he chose West Virginia Wesleyan College. “It was an opportunity for me to play college football and pursue a college education,” Dixon said. Dixon is a freshman at West Virginia Wesleyan. Dixon is from San Bernardino, California, and the high school hecame from is John W North. He is a smart young man to be friends with, has energy that has been every day, and he helps me out with the energy that brings to football practice.

Tyrell Ramsey says why he chose West Virginia Wesleyan College. “I chose the school because of the cheap cost and the ability to be safe and far away from home and all distractions,” Ramsey said. Ramsey is also from Maryland, he is a sophomore at Wesleyan College, and he is another person that helps me with when I ask. He is like a big brother to me. He is a smart young man, and he has a lot of respect and energy.

Benjamin Wilson is in his 2nd year of the MBA in the graduate program. “I work as a Graduate Assistant for campus life. I originally chose Wesleyan because it was a small school where students are more than just a number as well as choosing this school because of the soccer team. West Virginia Wesleyan College is a very prestigious school where I am proud to be called a Bobcat,” Wilson said.

Isaiah Deshommes said: “I chose Wesleyan because I was led by Christ to pick my college, and he let me know that where I need to be to prosper is West Virginia Wesleyan. We (Isaiah Deshommes, Dakota Johnson and Sophiste Jorvelus) formed the Bible study Fellowship called “Living Purpose – LeaP.” We strive to LeaP towards our purpose and LeaP towards the progression of our faith.. We made Living Purpose to give people a safe haven while away from home, we want you to still feel the Lord’s Presence even when not at church. Which is why we strive to make Living Purpose a movement throughout the school. Our plan is to build community and fellowship through Christ! God bless,” Deshommes said.

In conclusion, West Virginia Wesleyan College is a private institution that was founded in 1890. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 938 (fall 2023), its setting is rural, and the campus size is 110 acres. It is a beautiful place to attend college.
