Christmas is almost here and getting students in the christmas spirit would be an amazing opportunity for students. Events this year would be great to bring students together and really get to bond more with other students. Wesleyan does have some Christmas events but there should be more events. 

Having decorations around campus would be a great start to have to put students in the Christmas spirit. Dorm room decorations can also be a start to the Christmas spirit. Having this around campus will encourage other students to decorate and get themselves in the Christmas joy. Holiday Game nights would be a great event to have for students. Foods, Snacks, being provided and enjoying the Christmas spirit among others on campus. 

Christmas events for kids around the Buckhannon community are great for the Wesleyan students as well. Wesleyan students can host an event on campus for kids around the Buckhannon community can come on campus for certain events. Crafting Christmas ornaments, making gingerbread houses, and cookies would be great for the kids. Wesleyan students can come and help host this event. 

Wesleyan hosting a Christmas movie night is a great opportunity for students. The semester is coming to an end, so having an event for a Christmas movie night and Christmas party will help with students taking a mental break and getting to know other students. 

Wesleyan students will be starting their winter break in the first week of December. This event should occur around the end of November and end on December 2nd so students still have time to study for their upcoming exams. These events are to keep the students feeling like they are at home while being on campus. The traditions and fun activities will keep the students interested in celebrating with not only their families but with other students and people in the Buckhannon community.

After interviewing a student here at Wesleyan Cam Lawrence. He feels like having more Christmas events here at Wesleyan would be a great idea. “ I feel like having events like Christmas movie nights or even people just getting together to share the Christmas spirit is a great idea. Christmas is also my favorite holiday and a lot of other people’s favorite holiday so I’m sure people would love to have these events on campus.”
